there are two kind of, the fullscreen ones and the 3x4 screen.

the 3x4 icons are the first 9 and the rest are fullscreen

that'a not true. the fullscreen icons cover almost the 90% of the background. you need to have a theme that suits the menu icons. unlike the 3x4 icons. with these one you can set any theme and it wont mess your background.

maybe the icons didnt get copied correctly, try to copy them again. the menu.ml shall be copied in the same place that the icons.
