Bookmark topic
talking of freebies 02 actually said im entitled to a free phone at the end of the year ive a letter as proof
I hardley paid anything for my phone this year anyways £30
previousley I was on £20 tariff with BT Genie (02 Online)
which included Unlimited Free text messages and
wap + 100 free mins..
02 will never be the same again after that
Only thing which made me change was the bullshit 02 used to say
"Sorry madame you cannot have GPRS on your account" you will have to change to one of our new tariffs...
Really they just wanted me off that when they could of activated it anyways!

in my opinion i feel that wen o2 was givin gprs for free to everyone over a year ago.they learnt der lesson,n evry1 loved o2 den and had no complaints and once the free gprs issue was resolved(cuz it was an error on o2 side it shouldn't been free gprs)everyone has started to complain about o2 now.it shows tho that we r a nation of freebi lovers.which i think is not right.cuz end of day if u want a service den u should pay for it.and not complain too much.and if da company isn't providin da service such as internet access at a certain price like web n walk den u have da option of walkin off to da company who is providin da service your after.not all company's can be the same tho in offerin services for things like internet at a cheap price.maybe o2 and voda have good reasons to have kept the way things r now in relation to data.however o2 must be doin somethin right by winnin da top network of da year in da jd power i think its called survey last year.

Im just saying 1MB should be risen up because they say it gets you 100 free pages when it clearly doesn't..
im scared to even look at my bill sometimes since ive changed from my old tariff my bills are below £50 this months wasn't bad tho £26
I try not to browse GPRS but it doesn't help when people keep sending you tons of MMS your bill's uping by the min.
is there anything about cheap prices calling abroad yet?
what about charges of when your in another country and someone phones you when will this be lowered????

Well if you don't want to get charged for looking at your MMS's change to one of the newer tariffs and have MMS enabled on your account, seems to be a cheaper option to me.

You can change to a lower tariff after 9 months or to an equivilent cost or higher one whenever you want, but if the highstreet ones are not so good for you, pick out a newer online one, at least you wont end up paying for all your MMS's.

@ Mr, I used that when I was in Berlin still though the prices aren't very good.. I have heard recent things of this on the news anyways so mobile networks will have to reduce these charges even further eventually.
Bout the MMS thing well if it is free that is good but im just wondering what all the charges are in bill I was assuming sending MMS would be charged at just like browsing.
@ D, I can actually change my tariff every 6 months,
I would never plan on getting a 02 Instore contract unless they were the same as Online
I forgot to mention sending MMS is free cos I have free 500 text messages anyways, I was just curious about maybe if I was getting charged to recieve back from other people thats all

You definetely shouldn't get charged for sending or recieveing them no, I'd have a closer look at your bills if I were you.
Appologies for the 9 month/6 month tariff change thing, the newer tariffs (ie in the last 12 months) have been 9 months I think but the older ones are 6 months.
