I dont assume a thing, you can speak for yourself.
On the other hand I can speak for myself and others.
Having too have owed several SE phones and I take care of my phones and most all of them have never been dropped. My last three SE phones had WSOD problems, all as a result of poor software engineering on SE's part.
Ive owed several Nokia phones and only one has given me a problem.
Im also into mobile phone retail and have now started offering a unlock/repair service and the most phones brought in for servicing are SE and Motorola.
The repair guy ive employed has his own repair business on the side and when you take a look in his truck its filled with broken Sony Ericssons and Motorolas.
Of course not ever single phone Nokia puts on the market is going to be error free but in comparison to SE and Motorola they have a hell of a good record.
Any unbiased mobile phone user who analyzes reliability and stability factors of cell phones will find that SE and Motorola have serious quality issues.

bavlandon:
The first morning i use my n95 to watch a video the battery drops 1 bar after only 20mins.
I have to say I find this quite hard to believe. Have you really own a N95 or you just play with it only? I have recorded a 20 min video AND played the video back fully and battery bar has not moved from full.
220 hours they say? Well thatgwouldnt be bad if it really was 220 hours. In reality its 45 hours at best (and thats on GSM not 3G)
Standby is when you dont touch the phone. K800 standby is stated at 12 days. But normal use it last ONLY 2-3 days. So?

For my N95, if I use the phone very little, it drop one bar from full after 2.5 days or 60hours (on 3G network with new firmware).

those standby times are made in perfect circumstances, so they dont reflect real usage

Indeed, Mr bobafett!!... They refer to "STANDBY"-time, one could say - that means the phone is not used...it's just waiting for you to use it...on standby! How is that confusing? So, really: watching videos is no way to checkl how long "standby" lasts!!!!

Mate so a repairer or two claims SE are worse than Nokia. I can point to repairers who similarly diss the recent Nokia's.
I mean, all I'm saying is that not all our experiences are the same and we can't go saying it's a fact that Nokia are more reliable than SE. In the days of the 3310, I'd probably agree with you, those phones were utter unbreakable bricks. But times change. Recent reliability surveys have indicated SE are no longer as unreliable as they used to be.
Like this whole joystick argument, there are many people who get the shits with a stuffed joystick and just want to crack off at SE about it, but yet they can't point to one scientific research that shows that SE have poorer quality overall.
We can all quote our anecdotal evidence but where's the proof of overwhelming poor build quality?

I remember there was one survey of many thousands of consumers by "What Mobile"?? in UK which states that Moto and SE phones are twice as likely to failed than Nokia or Samsung.
