the main interest for me would be the form factor and the added ram indeed.
other improvements (ui, voip) will probably also be available on other uiq3 phone.

i think this p1 looks pretty crap if im honest, and will definately look dated in 6 months time.
The p990 is much more professional and top spec looking than this model, and aside from the extra camera pixels and memory, its the same phone.
sorry SE, but the p990's successor will have to be much more modern and forward thinking than this to prevent a whole host of poeple opting for an iPhone, especially when the rev.b iPhone hits the world, which is bound to kick serious ass, apples rev.b products normally do.

@prom1
you can say that the p990i still looks great, and yet it's only a minor rehash of the p900 design which has been around for like, how many years? I don't feel that the m600i design was dated at all, and the minor revisions to the design just makes it a much better looking phone. anyways the main feature concerning m600i was the easy-to-use QWERTY pad, which would always be retained as it is proven. how many percent of the surface does that take? I don't see SE removing the pad for something new as yet, and until they do, the successor of m600i and even p1i would always look like this. nothing wrong there, would there be? a lot of people seems pleased with the design...
and you might have your arguments on the merits of EDGE, no denying that it has some. but at the end of the day, SE just decides not to concentrate on that platform and in particular the Americas (which to me is the major region using EDGE), for reasons only they know of.
my operator never adopted EDGE, only UMTS and HSDPA. so I can't comment on the difference between the both. I hardly even use OTA data, as the costs are restrictive and my area has a wide wi-fi coverage. might be different situation in your region, but that's just it. tough luck, mate

Personally i the only thing i don't like in P1 is the keyboard, other then that it looks pretty good. But i'm going to stick with P990 and see what happens next after P1....
I had all the P's before, and now i have the M600, the keyboard is just wonderfull, try it some days and you are used to it, and will be able to typ faster, the P1 will be great, ok inside nothing more special than the now P990 and the M600, i am looking at the Zenum

It seems the c variant is usually for china but who knows, the Us might get lucky.
