Why don't you try to read the article instead just answering without investigating yourself?

1) The images are 100% crops of the original, there's no need to zoom.
2) The article was published in MAY 2007, what early firmware are you talking about?

I know that they are crops - if you resize the N95's picture to 2048 x 1536 pixels, it would have been better than the one from K800. That's what I meant.
About the firmware, Nokia released a new firmware on the 5th of May, meaning that the test unit they used could still be on the old firmware. These photos were most likely shot earlier than the article was published.

EDIT: And if you really must use that site, then why don't get all the info and results in on it, too, huh?

Test 1: Pictures, taken in the open, in broad daylight

The phones' performance, sorted from 1st to 5th place:
1) N95: N95 is capable of reproducing neutral colors situations best, but, unfortunately, they are all deliberately oversaturated. The brightly-lit objects burn easily, unlike D900. The 5 megapixels provide quite a lot of detail, but some pictures are blurred due to the noise reduction system.
2) K800: Wildly fighting for the first place, but the limitation of the 2 megapixels impacts the pictures negatively. It performs best as far as colors and exposition are concerned.

Теst 2: Nighttime pictures

The phones' performance, sorted from 1st to 5th place:
1) N95: The impact of the noise reduction system is felt, since almost everything is blurred, but the correct exposition and the realistic colors make the pictures look better than those of the competition.
2) К800: The situation with К800 is the same as N95. The reduced resolution is a shortcoming, depriving the phone of the gold medal.

Test 3: Pictures at artificial light: different power, different distances

The phones' performance, sorted from 1st to 5th place:
1) К800: the powerful flash provides the best lighting from different distances, but the enhanced sensitivity results in blurred detail .
2) N95: at close-ups the LED flash lights the objects and the pictures turn out fine, but it is helpless at greater distances.

Теst 4: Test situation: colors and resolution

The phones' performance, sorted from 1st to 5th place:
1) N95: the combination of realistic colors and high resolution earn this phone the first place.
2) К800: again, it loses to N95 due to its 3 megapixels.

Теst 5: Macro

The phones' performance, sorted from 1st to 5th place:
1) КG920: thanks to the small distance, at which the camera focuses correctly ad the CCD matrix, providing a very detailed image, КG920 is the undisputed leader!
2) N95: The second 5-megapixels phone takes the second place in the macro category.
3) D900: the Samsung can also do a close-up, but it does not provide as much detail as that of КG920.
5) К800: In certain conditions К800 is not able to focus (a bright lit object in bright light), no matter ho hard we tried.

Overall: Total Rating

1) Nokia N95 4.6 (of 5) Perfect result, living up to our expectations!

2) Sony Ericsson K800 3.6 (of 5) The previous leader is still going strong.

Test 1

1) N95: N95 is capable of reproducing neutral colors situations best, but, unfortunately, they are all deliberately oversaturated. The brightly-lit objects burn easily, unlike D900. The 5 megapixels provide quite a lot of detail, but some pictures are blurred due to the noise reduction system.
2) K800: Wildly fighting for the first place, but the limitation of the 2 megapixels impacts the pictures negatively. It performs best as far as colors and exposition are concerned.

Read: N95 has problems with, colors and blur, K800 even if limited by 1.8mpx has better colors and exposition and my eyes tell me the quality is best.

About the size/zoom/scale KG920 pics have the same size of N95, without suffering N95 problems.......

I know, but still, N95 won.

but KG920 has a problem with colors and sharpness. Besides, it's absolutely useless for photographing. It takes about 20 seconds to start camera, shot a picture and save it. That's just too long.
