Thanks for considering implementing backup feature

As for mute/silence - P990i with flip removed has no easy way of muting the phone. With Longkey implementing this, it will greatly benefit P990i users who removes their flip.

As for keylock - P990i comes with dedicated keylock which allows users to lock the key pad in any screen, any mode. However, for M600i/P1i users, one have to keep reminding oneself to "go back to the main screen first" in order to press and then "hold on to the back button" to lock the keypad. Should LongCuts also implement a dedicated option for locking of keypads, this will greatly benefit M600i/P1i users to be on par with P990i's dedicated keylock

Hence in short, having LongCuts incorporating keypad lock and mute/silence keys, these 2 will greatly benefit both P990i and M600i/P1i users

Sounds reasonable. I'll think about that. I've also got requests for shortcuts to dimming and brighting of the LCD which sounds inline with the functions you are talking about.

I noticed a slight delay of character recognition when using longcut 0.2. When i bind 'm' and then try to write it on screen, it takes longer time for the phone to recognize it than other keys that are not binded. The problem disappeared when i kill longcut.

Agree. Binding the qwerty keys (without Shift or Alt) has made handwriting recognition on the P990 very unreliable - it just keeps missing letters.

Hope it can be fixed pepelaz, 'cos this is a superbly useful app!

I finally got it signed. Symbiansigned gave me an account very easy indeed..

Now Ive tried it and it works like a charm.

A big thx to pepelaz3000 for making this app...
Love it..

Now to some wishes;

Could there be any chance to have shortcuts like:
New SMS
New Note
New MMS and so on?

Thoose I miss badly..

Updated the app:

What's new in version 0.3

* "Unbind" command was moved from "More" command group to central soft key position.
* "Exit" command was moved to the bottom of "More" command group.
* Confirmation request was added for "Unbind All" command.
