@cyanx7:
I see somebody is having fun bluejacking(tm) Nokia phones.
@mscarrot:
So far, the best places to bluejack a brick (ie. Nok*a) is at:
1. Mobile phone stores (expecially Nok*a -- this is by design
)
2. Airports (especially in the arrival halls... please don't do it in a plane!)
3. Movie theatres
4. Pubs

had a very friendly encounter with a p800 user @ the airport this morning...as usual i did a bt search and it came out with this:
super duper p800
i then quickly set a contact with the title "Great phone. Excellent choice" and set it off....i then left my handset bt on and imagine to my surprise when the return message came via bt saying:
Assume u r using SE coz SE rocks!
This can only happen b/w SE users coz nokia owners haf IQ of a brick....hahahahahahaha....unfortunate that i never got to meet the user of the p800, but whoever he/she is, my conclusion to his/her message is "DARN RIGHT U ARE!!!"

Is there any other use for bluetooth other than bluejacking? although it sounds like much fun, I just got a T300 and I'm wondering if it's worth returning it & getting a T68i just for the BT.

Uses for BT? Best for using the phone as a modem with laptop, especially when I'm in an area with weak network signal. Then, I can look for a spot with decent signal, even if it's in a weird location, and still work from wherever I want. Also, data transmission seems faster with BT than with IR.
But hell, bluejacking Nokia users is a good enough reason for BT too...
