Oh, Miss UK, there is an issue with my W810 that only became apparent recently as I've started to use my W810 as my music player. Every now and then, there'll be a loud popping sound and there'll be an error message saying Playback failed. That is a concern to me as I was just starting to enjoy using my W810 as my music player. The sound quality is pretty good.
hi there ... had this problem with my W800i ... but it was gone after i cleaned the dust from the memory stick,it looks like connection problem

I've tried several different memory sticks but they've all had the same issue. So if it's indeed due to a contact problem, then it must be the contacts on the phone's card slot which I have no access to. In any case, that's a small issue to me. As long as my W810 performs well in all other aspects, I'll stick with it.
I'm about to get my Z770 back from the service centre for the fifth time, and all due to the same problem. I hope they've resolved it once and for all, cos I've been very patient with them and if I have to bring it back one more time, I think it'll be justified if I lose my temper. Besides, if I didn't have my W810 and my Z770 was my only phone, I'd be a very, very upset customer.
Now, more importantly, when I get my Z770 back, should I keep it or should I stick to my W810 and sell the former while there's still some value for it? And if I do sell it, should I get a new phone? I'm quite tempted to do so, and I'm attracted to the E51. Or if I decide to give SE another chance, perhaps I'll get the K630.

So it's a case of live with it :s
lol i'd personally get rid of the other one coming back,
fifth time in repair? there ment to replace them after the 3rd I thought
look at the value of your phones and see how much you can sell private,
looking at all this bother lately with prices coming and going then you never know what your gunna get!
£100/$200 will get you something dead good across here now phones are dropping like flys in price have a look in the bargain phone thread for proof

I've just gotten it back yesterday and it seems fine now. Apparently, they've replaced the motherboard, or that's what the person told me. Now that the issue's resolved, I'm pretty tempted to keep it, but we'll see how it goes. If it acts up again, it won't be going in for servicing for a sixth time.

I'm using my Z770 as my mp3 player on my way to work now. It sounds pretty alright, at least it doesn't have the hissing sound that my W810 has, or maybe it's less audible. But it has the same "Playback failed" error message. I wonder if it could be due to my mp3s. Hmm... I encode my mp3s at 256kbps cbr, has anyone encountered the same issue? I'm using a different card, by the way. So if it isn't due to my phone and memory card, the only common factor I can find here is my mp3.

I've decided to sell my Z770 and get a K630 or E51. I was playing around with the camera yesterday and realised that the top half of the image was not aligned with the bottom half. It's like there's a horizontal line separating the top and bottom half. It did not have this problem when I sent it in. Like I mentioned, I will not bother sending it in for a sixth time, so I'm gonna have to let it go. I'll most probably end up getting the K630 unless anyone violently objects and feels that I should get the E51 instead.
