tempted to change my CDA.

If i do, would it affect netowrk operators etc?

Erm, Nope!

Hmm, then again when ive took pics of people, i have been quite far away.

I'll have to try it,

Just editing the cam driver myself now, 2.7 that is. See if i can sort something out with image sizes!
