At first you said that this phone is "just another one", but now everyone likes it. I think that after the W995's and Idou's release, the opinions about SE have changet a lot.

just because the lens is smaller it necessarily dosent mean the image sensor is weaker, there is several cellphones with quite small lenses who performs very good.

C901 seems to perform very good, wondering if Sonyericsson use same excellent image sensor as c902/w902 ?

just look at this Flash picture by c901, (shoot with redeye reduction), it have very good quality for such long distance. looks we have a new winner here

hope it released now in Q2, would be a perfect spring present.

Smaller lens could mean smaller sensor, and smaller sensor is definetly weaker than bigger sensor made with the same tachnology. C902/W902's sensor isn't excellent at all, and I think -because the photos are looking maybe better than C902/W902's, and the lens is smaller- that the sensor isn't that weak one known from C902/W902.

On that photo with girl,
iso200 - great! Will be less soft-blurring.
1\\125 exposure - really great.

Focal length - 4.55
k850/c902 has 5.18

What better?? Does anybody know?

it's just wider angle of view, not much important for amateur shooters

think the small difference between different lenses dosent prove anything on cellphones. if you compare "the size" between example k850 and c902 you clearly see c902 comes out on top regrding picturequality and still have smaller lens.
even c905 with its Big lens dosent prove much, it still take quite bad lowlight & indoor pictures (and there you really "need" your Big lens).

c902 has a focal lenght of 5,18mm
c901 --------- || ------- 4,55mm

the second macro picture by c901 is also good i think. (no flash, iso.100, etc). im happy with c901 (especially the flash). hope it comes sson

Is it possible that C901 won't be available in European coutries??? It was announced as a phone for emerging markets, but is no information about it on SonyEricsson's press releaese's page, it isn't exposed on MWC either, according to Mobile-review, and actually nobody saw it on MWC untill now.
