no problems with pm notification here.
When linking to a certain post, there is a difference in descending and ascending.
Can I solve this with a print-post-link?
Edit; yes' print-post-link takes you to the right post!

with reports like this its always worth mentioning which browser you are using as perhaps there is some incompatibility or other issue with the diverse number of browsers available these days

take a look in preferences and check what time zone you have. I'm guessing you have a time zone set that is 30 minute offset from your current time zone
