"No, not Nyphon. Aoba is gone for now. No info if it'll be resurrected. This new device is similar to Aoba, just different codename.
Also, I don't see what's the hype about Aoba?
SE's strategy has been working for them last year even though their device was single core. I believe devices are at a point where it's "just good enough". At least they can battle on a more equal ground IMO, since video/camera performance wouldn't be that different going from dual-core to quad-core correct me if I'm wrong. They're getting the 1080p capture which a dual-core is sufficient enough. It's not as if everyone who bought their phone would be benchmarking the crap out of their phone...oh well it's not for me to decide. If anyone would want a quad-core phone, then it's definitely their choice, but would it be a deal-breaker to many, well, we'll find out soon enough." -
