The lag is persistent in S8 and S8+

Even if they put desktop quality intel i7 cpu and latest-greatest generation gpu from nvidia samsung will not be able to get rid of the lag in their software. I guess it's perfect for the laggy brained sammy boys especially my idol here on esato.

@GRANEDE I understand you ain't a fan of of Samsung by any stretch but no need to bash the S8 quite so much. Every phone that has ever been released has had a few software related issues which have quickly been ironed out and Samsung, Sony, LG, Huawei, Apple will all have a software patch within the 1st few weeks of launching any phone.

@XperiaJunkie, I have nothing against Samsung. I know it's hard to believe but trust me when I say this - I actually appreciate what samsung is doing for the advancement of tech. All the thing I post here is for One person. After all he did for the last two year in the sony forum this simply just a payback. That POS pretends that it doesn't affect him but I know for sure that it does.
Nevertheless what I posted here isn't made up things. All my comment are backed up by articles. It's all true. Samsung software gets extremely laggy very quickly and their update is insanely slow. Those are facts. Changing the name of their UI means nothing if the software is laggy as hell.

This are far from being facts - more like granede normal trollish posts . I had Samsung phones , now I have a tab s2 and didnt experience this at all. In fact speed wise more often than not experience gets better
Yes Samsung updates are a bit slow but then so are Sony's
Anyway sales seem to have started well in Korea

The reviews have been very positive to
Watched quite a few.
Lol, and now the Galaxy Note 8 rumours have already started.
Can we not get a break?

My experience of Samsung phones are that they can get laggy but they have raw power so once you start fiddling or change to a different launcher, it works better. Back in the day, RAM management was pretty poor so you'd have to reload many apps but that was S5 amd S6 days. I've been reading reviews and it looks good but I never believe the battery tests, I had an S7 from work and it would die before my work hours finished.
As for updates, 7.0 has broken my Z5 so much so that I'm using a billion third party apps to cover for the all the buggy Sony apps. Battery is pathetic now and the Video app....what an absolute garbage app.

My S7 Edge does a great job, this must be the worst I have had, 6hours SOT, it usually can get up to 9hours, I posted those 9hour SOT screenshots in the S7 Edge thread.
This is the minimum I'm getting
