Have to check the sunlight eligibility tomorrow!

So far, comparing to the XZ2, I could only say that it's almost the same. It is heavy, but still acceptable. Plus the back is flatter than the XZ2, so it's more stable when used on the table.

However, the SD bug is still there! The SD read speed is less than 18 Mbps!

Also, for some reason, the screen is very yellow. It might be my protector, so I will have to do some fun tuning.

Looks like all screens are tuned towards warmer tones from the factory. I felt the same when I got XZ. My personal preference is for colder gamut, so I will definitely be changing that. How is front camera compared to XZ2?

comparison with XZP. Looks like XZ2P improves on pretty much all aspects of XZP apart from removing 3.5mm jack and thickness. Considering that XZP was one of the best phones of 2017, XZ2P seems to be a worthy successor.

You can turn on auto translated subtitles, Chinese to English works pretty well

Wow, first time in a long while they have been so complementary about a device. The design is the biggest complaint so far but if XZ3 has the dual camera then it looks exciting. Suddenly I'm excited for IFA. The night video is something else though, and watch it back on the 4K HDR screen like a boss.

It's interesting that GSM Arena noted that the software for their phone and all other phones that've been tested around the web do not have final software. Curious to see how that affects the camera performance once everything is finalized.

I can't seem to recall, did anyone run a camera comparison between XZ2P and Pixel 2XL

Don't think so but pixel 2 lost already when versus XZ 2

Spoke to a guy and he said that the response to the camera has been excellent, they have been monitoring technical expert views and they believe the camera reviews will be outstanding. While they admit that the XZ2P may not be a looker, research is showing that people are now very interested more so than the 4K or other things like bezel size. There is a hype around this now and while I can't see it selling loads, it sets up for a strong IFA. I managed to hold a dummy and it was just too big for it to be comfortable but I'm suddenly excited about the next Premium phone.

the camera is indeed really good. I've had mine for around 4 days, and it's been brilliant so far. Shooting everything in auto-mode and pictures look amazing. My favourite feature is 4K HDR screen though, everyone who saw the phone were awed at how 4K HDR content looks like on the phone.
