Does this mean a seamless zoom? I know there is quite a pronounced step when zooming between lenses.

that would be a very welcome upgrade if so. but still all unconfirmed rumors. the VII was announced may 13, so we are just about a month away.

I was thinking about this. This is already mid-April, and I wonder when we will get some concrete news/rumours about 1VIII.

even if it comes with a pair of XM6s, you can just sell those and recoup your purchase. the pricing in the UK is crazy even for the bundle (at least with the conversion to USD). I'll be importing from Japan and will plan to get the 512/16GB version or whatever the top end version is.

yes, sumaho didn't mention that the new files were submitted in late march 2026, and they became available only today, april 13.
the 1 VII was april 17th for both submission and availability, I wouldn't call that end of April like they said.
