i would say that everyone should wait for officielle pics and specs from sony ericsson befor they complain!
in my opinion the P810 looks abit like the Z700 and the T610 but the main form is from the P800

P810 looks awsome! But, I think SE needs to work more on normal handsets, ot smart phones.

The P810 looks more grown-up than the Tonka toy looks of the P800.

Will probably get one

The P810 looks like a far more well thought out product than the P800.

But a good question, where does the backlight in the keypad come from?

And it does seem like they're focusing more on the phone features. The reason why so many users (me included) prefer the P800 without the flip is that it's a pretty good little PDA but a terrible phone. Not even T9. Maybe you'd find the phone mode neat if you come from a 90's Motorola handset.

Why don't SE make the P810 into a 3g phone?

If it is a newer version to the p800 then it should have 3g as a major difference between the two phones.

Anybody agree or am i just taking s**t ??????

Because 3G is a very small, limited market. SE already has 3G in Japan.

It could very well become a UMTS dual-mode phone like the z1010 though.

You can't sell a UMTS-only product these days. People want both GSM and UMTS since UMTS coverage in most European countries is very limited.

But yes, I would prefer if the P810 was both UMTS and GSM compatible. But you can't have it all and besides, I doubt that there will be two cams for video conferencing on the phone.

i don`t like the design of P810! I love the design of my P800 and i think that should keep the same design but smaller and lighter! The flip of P810 is very strange...see how it looks when in flip down!
