no im not at all full of that S word, im sorry but you are wrong...
once again, the life of a phone is limited, even if its scares you to hear that, you have problems i know that, but i dont wanna bring them up here, i have one kid, he is 7 months old.
thanks

Congrats on both your families.
Now back to phones..... I agree the life span of any phone gets shorter than that of it's predecessor simply because more and better phones are being released every couple of months.
I think the exception to the rule might be PDA-phones.... because they are a larger investment...... I think the ordinary guy/gal (like me) would buy one with the intention to use it for a considerable amount of time.
@ goh..... hmmm I dun actually use picture phonebook... therefore I guess I could do without a colored external screen

Well, thatīs my point.
Do you have a crystal ball that calculates actual life span of yet to be released phones or what?
Now I mean life span as in service life before getting past the point of being able to be repaired, not as in wow-factor gone because there are newer models out, maybe we ought to get this straight first?

i dont have no crystal ball but a sensitive mind.... and i tell you this much, why do you think that a celluar phone will "die" after a while?
ok it will get unmodern, and the wow-factor will fade, but i cant see how the phone would stop working after a while, if you are careful with it, avoiding water and other damages, it could live for ever...
i got a phone from -88 in my closet, and it still works fine (if i charge the battery)
my son is sleeping now, in oct he will be 8 month

QUOTE: "a T68 lives about 3-4 years, depending on how you treat them, the T610 also lives 3-4 years (with good treatment of corse) and the Z600 lives 5-6 years."
So, just what exactly do you mean by "lives"?? Take the t610, what happens after 4 years? Does it blow up? Stop working, or just get out of style? If you mean gets out of style, i guess you can predict "life span" of a phone, if not, iīd say you would have to be some kind of psychic to reliably predict anything!
Especially on things not yet publicly available
