Phew…. We’re calming down.. Good

Question: Are there any T-Mo USA techies on this board? I was told that the P800 wap settings could possibly work for this unit in the states, but there is no guarantee. The numbers may need tweaking (maybe). In case many of my fellow members don’t know P800s are not officially supported by any carriers in the states (it was brought to my attention that it was new news to some). In fact, they’re not “officially” sold in stores in the states at all. That’s because things work backwards here unfortunately. You purchase mobile phones on contract and only phones sold by the cellular carrier are supported. Each carrier has a phone provisioned for them by the manufacturer and their company logo gets slapped on the phone. So if one likes a cell carrier’s minute plan they MUST by that specific carrier’s phones.

I have a pre-paid UK Vodophone and Ben NL simcard that I use when traveling to the EU countries, but I am unable to use GPRS or voice in the states. T-Mo USA has always given me a forewarning about questions I had about my P800 in the past. They’ve always said that they can’t guarantee the help they give me because their stores do not carry or sell them anywhere in the US. I imagine the same would apply to the P900s. So if there’s anyone that has tested GPRS on the P900s or heard of it being done in the states please let me know. I counting down the time. I would like to make a post from the unit if possible.

Dude! There are people out there who are addicted to drugs and pay TONS more than $1500 daily, so that white powder goes up their noses. There are people who buy "Antiques" and "Priceless Artificats" for millions, only to lock them up away from any eyes that can admire them.
A day is worth a lifetime to some people.

Only available for mail order I believe. ATT GSM is pure and utter Garbage unfortunately.. Great customer service, but horrible GSM system. I would not recommend anyone to jump ship with them as they are not as flexible as T-Mo when it comes to giving contracts to consumers with non-ATT purchased phones. They kinda tweak their system to prevent unlocked phones from working with their system (I think) BTW: I stated that I had questions about GPRS settings for the P900.. I have not had issues about P800 settings as I had my phone for 9 months now I was just curious about T-Mo settings for P900. I know Cingular P800 owners that use an entirely different scheme to connect through GRPS. I'm sure ATT is very much different as well. But thanks for the heads up anyway.

News Flash!!!!!!!!! - Package Delivered and Signed for at the front desk.. A project awaits me... Unfortunately I have to buy additional licenses for all hte P800 software I have already purchased. Will update all as soon as I get home.
