You guys are really tempting me to order this thing

.
But the fact that you can only record video on internal memory is big minus, considering you have unlimited recording on the P900(through the memory sticks). Roughly what is the maximum amount of time you can record video? Has anyone tested this out or knows for sure?
The XDAII will be out here in the US via T-Mobile as the "MDA II", but knowing how we get phones so late here I don't think it'll be here until next year, and I'm impatient so I'm going to have to import it.
I'm still between this and the P900...but the fact is I'm 19, and taking something that looks like a pocket pc around with me to the clubs and using a stylus to make calls is going to look somewhat "unfashionable" and dorky. And according to psikey, it's not pocketable either....So this all makes the decision even more difficult.

Although you don't need to use the stylus to make a call, you can use it one handed,due to the fact that you are 19, get yourself the P900, it is for every age group, but I think that the XDA is more for older guys.
And I am sure there is much more street cred in a p9 than a xda.....

You can select a different folder but I couldn't try storage card because I don't have one.

You're better off with the P900. You won't be able to pick up girls with an XDA. The P900 would be sexy.

To throw a spanner into the works I also got a P900 today from the local Orange Shop so now have opportunity to play with P800 XDA2 & P900.
I'm really pleased with the P900. The XDA2 has far more power, features, expansion potential but as someone said earlier P900 with the heart XDA2 with the mind.
As a 'portable' phone/pda combi the P900 wins hands down over the XDA2. The size of the XDA2 is starting to put me off it in favour of the P900. Only had P900 for 3 hours and I'm already thinking about ditching the XDA2 (plus finding O2 customer support crap at the moment).
Few more days to decide but at moment its P900 60% XDA2 40%.
I love Symbian OS & its ease of use

It's nice to know the thought process you are going through. And now that you have both units, your comparission and experience is more reliable. Keep up the posts!
Well it goes to show that power is not really our priority when it comes to mobile devices... There should be a balance between power and mobility.

I am finding the P900 to be a superb phone, much more improved than i thought it would be, it "Feels" small & reminds me of the T68m/i, (the best designed phone i ever).

@pachy
Fully agree with you plus all the features are so much easier to use than the XDA2.
For me its starting to come down to portability & ease of use.
Even though XDA2 has all the fancy features I'm asking myself what I really need & finding the P900 fits the bill. Still biggest issue for me is not supporting larger than 128MB duo.

@pachy,
Beneath that youthful exterior, there is a man of taste and class, well maybe a little.
"T68m/i, (the best designed phone i ever)", at least one of…..
@psikey,
XDA 2 goes back to O2 tomorrow, I won’t call them wankers anymore, everyone knows what I think of them,…..OK, I will then.... “Wankers”….Anyway, I pick up the P900 tomorrow. I hope it lives up to what you guys are saying, especially in light of playing with the powerful XDA2……
Well done gentlemen…….Enjoy...
