My phone was O2 branded, I took it to a service centre and it was unbranded to CDA162003/5 R4A04.

I can't now use the Update Service.

If I take it back to the service centre, will they upgrade it to R5B02 or will they re-brand it to the latest O2 firmware?

Confusing!!

I didn't suggest that they would, but there would be a chance that someone here has tried the process.

I have a P900 from Orange. Terrible Bluetooth range to a HBH65 headset (also SE), yet good range to an unbranded P900.... anyway was looking at the update site, stuck in my CDA of 162004/3. It says the latest Organiser is R3A06. Yet the phone came from the operator with Organiser version R4B03. The CDA version is R5A01 but if I am understanding correctly this is not relevant.

I rang SE and they said that the site was hosted in Sweden and that the site was out of date. I rang Orange and went to second line support who ask the TS team who said that I should update to R3A06 as SE updates went down in numbers and R3 was newer than the R4 I have on the phone.

Really dont know what to do. All I want is for my SE P900 and my SE HBH65 to work at a distance of even 5 meters apart (no there is no wifi interference) instead of the laughable 1 meter.
