i got mine for less than 400$ (4000kr) in sweden....you can buy it withot papers for about 350$ ...but youl ake a high risk
...and both prices is without any contract so the phone is not locked!

Got it on the day it was released.. some time Beginning Nov 2001 - cant remember the date - one of about 50 released to carphone warehouse from Ericsson for £100 on voda contract. All voda contract phones are unlocked - as I use mine on Orange.
All new MM02 (BTCellnet) contract phones are now subject to being locked onto the network - as far as Im aware.

Got mine the evening before they were launched here in Switzerland. For 590 CHF, with contract, but no SIM-Lock (that's around 380$ or so.)
A week later price dropped by 100CHF...
