Don't worry if you don't, you're not missing much!
We get the 'post pub entertainment', which comes on usually about 11.30 - 12midnight after most people have staggered home from the pub after chucking out time. It involves gems like a gadget show, laddish-type shows, and usually some soft porn somewhere along the line!
Not that I watch that, you understand.....

It depends. For some reason pubs over here chuck out at about 11, even at weekends! Some (usually in town and city centres) get a late licence till about 2, and I think some can get a special license to stay open even later in big city centres.
The majority though call last orders at about 11, which is pathetic! It apparently dates from about WW1 when factory workers were staying at the pub too late, getting pissed and making a nuisance of themselves. It for some reason has never been repealed.
