Ok, one thing that realy helps the batery is to switch to a non-animated background. I did this and my batery (on it's fourth or fith charge) held up pretty much as you'd expect. Just a little tip.

just read this on, the not so reliable mobile magazine, mobil.se when they critized a couple of the bugs in K700 (found and mentioned in this thread also):
- Det kan vara små fel på nya avancerade mobiler, fel som vi åtgärdar efter hand via uppgraderingar man kan ladda ned från internet till sin telefon, säger Per Alksten, informationsansvarig på Sony Ericsson.
what Per Alksten says is in short that they (SE) will fix the bugs in sowftware updates wich you ca download from internet to your phone! wonder if that means that we will be able to update our K700 ourselves!?
or if mobil.se is just wrong as usual...

I've discoverd a 1 sec lag when answering if the contact has an attached image.
Example.
it rings, i click and answer with my name, the caller doesn't hear my name. it lags for about 1 sec until the caller can hear me. But if i remove the image it's fine, no lag.
Might it be the picturesize?
Anyone else, experience this?
/p

Need anyone's help!
Regardless of whether I pair in headset or handsfree mode, the headset icon is always on, even after the call has ended! This happens to my HBH-65 and Jabra 250. This hogs the bluetooth session and will not allow any other bluetooth device (e.g. PDA) to connect with the phone until the bluetooth session has been released by the headset.
Anyone with similiar experience with any bluetooth headset ?

thfcpoole is not the only one with the contacts bug - i reported the same thing in the first k700 thread a few days ago...one number from random contacts just disapears.
this ocurred almost immediately and i got the phone replaced by o2, my second one does exactly the same, i also get the delay when answering a call - hadn't noticed it relating to contacts with pictures but will check

Still, it does not seem to be a common bug. Can it have something to do with certain sim cards or perhaps content of them ? Have you tried with another sim card (perhaps borrow from a friend) ?
A long shot perhaps. But you never know.

the phone i wrote all of those comments about was my girlfreinds and she got her off o2 online. I got mine off o2-uk from a shop and its way worse. The disappearing contacts isnt present but all the rest is. In addition to her problems there is-
1. a much slower menu speed than hers
2. a dodgy o2 logo
3. links to sony ericsson via a globe symbol in all the folders
4. a much dimmer screen
5. white is yellower
6. only one game
7. half my keypad is much dimmer than hers and blue and half is bright and purple?
8. the photo light on hers is a natural beige where as mine is bright blue and shows up really horrible blemishes on your face
So i think the o2 online ones are much better apart fromthe contacts thing. the dim keypad is really annoying me
and that logo
