having read threads i figured that my SE k700i
with firmaware R2A041 is old and i need to upgrade to R2L001 (aspecialy because of anoying contact disapearing from phonebook). The thing is that it is O2 branded and SE authorized repair service said they cant upgrade because of that (there is no O2 network where i live). Is it safe to upgrade to O2 branded with firmware R2A041 to R2L001?
Other thing is what prgCXC125959_EU_6_C mean, can that be of any help answering the question above?

My phone was updated with R2L001 in an service-center. Yesterday
i got DSS-25 and i was trying to update my phone online and my first tought was it would fail becaues the lastest is R2L001 and i allready had that in my phone. But i didīt get an mess about that. the online update for k700i uppdated my phone to R2L001.
My question then is there som diffrent from the service-centers update and the onlines uppdate?
I will try again tonight and see if i can uppdate the phone online or i will get an mess that i allredy have the lastest software.

how i read in the phone's manual something about a option called "MyFriends" i can't find it any where.
And i'm shure it's missing.
Will i get the option "MyFriends" when i update to the most recent Firmware? Cause i realy like to use this feature to keep in touch with my msn contacts.

have you tried looking for "my friends" under Messaging ? You should be able to find it there, If not then I suggest taking it to an
service center.

I dont kw if anybody has mentioned this, bt i just noticed that when your in camera and you go to effects it now givs a preview of that effect, it didn't do this in R2A, just thought that its a cool little add on now
