Well, my K7 took a week of my salary

. Regardless of how much it is, I would think that everyone would have wish that everything they bought is worth the money. Hence, if it does not live up to expectations then I guess people will be complaining. But I think one poster said that you would have known some of the bugs by testing it before buying it.... which is wise or perhaps even wait abit till some early users have posted their views and then put those into consideration. Weigh those considerations before you buy it.

this is what happen when marketing/fans hyped-up a phone to such a level that it is not.
of course, u would be p*** off if u original think u r buying something with Japanese quality standard and dependability. instead u got one with quality and dependability similar to one made by some backyard sweatshop.

@mib1800
One should know what one is buying first, simple as that. I have been pleased with my K700 because I researched it first and found out what it was like. I have done the same with the P910 and know that I will be disappointed if I buy one as it doesn't represent a good value alternative to my P900.

the fact that people make more or less money has indeed little to do with the quality of the product they're buying.
Personally speaking I would never spend 3 times my salary on a phone because there are far more important things to pay for in my life.
IF i were to spend 3 times my salary on anything..... i would indeed make sure I knew everything there possibly could be known prior to purchase

If you take a look at the reviews just after k700 was released,you'll see that 100% of them call k700 a 'winner'.Not one of them is saying anything about the battery problem,and some of them just copyed the SE specifications:300h/7h !
In fact, in the first 2-3 weeks or so after k700 was released , you'll never find something bad about k700 in any of the reviews.
So, how much more I should've waited until buying the phone?

U dont have to wait. If u are a fone user for longer time, u know what and why to buy. According the batt time, se give u lab results since years.

@mike_k7
For once I agree with boba on something, manufacturers have quoted optimum battery performances, under laboratory conditions for a number of years now.
I would agree with Vlamm when she questioned the wisdom of spending three times one's salary on a mobile phone.; with the greatest respect, it seems rather odd to spend a relatively large amount of money on something if one does not earn a huge amount.
I waited until I had been able to read reviews and accounts of the K700's shortcomings before deciding to buy. Most mobiles these days have bugs so it is well worth waiting for such reports from early adopters.
@boba
I know you said that mobile services are expensive where you live, but I would like to know what your point is please.

Do you think I like spending 3 salaries on a phone?!
But this is the only way to have such a device here,in Romania.
For me,Valentiner and others in our situation this phone has a very different value than let's say someone from UK,and of course we expect it to perform according this huge value!(even if k700 is a middle range SE phone)
