even if the price is the same there will still be people that prefer the phone without frills. Like it or not, they do exist.
But 'what if' is quite irrelevant isn't it? The whole point of different market segments is to offer a diiferent item for a different price to different people. That's the way businesses work. Including

Im with you... I do not mind to see other SE's that are cheaper.. I would even buy myself a J200.. coz its cheap!! Maybe buy 10 more, for others who cant afford expensive ones...

many people working in sensitive fields are not allowed to carry phones with cameras. Im one of them, i can only drool over k700, s700. etc but its not possible for me to own them coz camera phones are banned at my work place.
I suppose these 2 new phones are the next best things thats coming along for guys like us.

well obviously i would go for s700i - but this is the price difference
and vlamm is right - my dad doesnt give a monkeys arse about a camera phone!
the s700i is large aswell - makes a diference!
