I have a K700 for a couple of days now and it exceeds my expectations. In contrast to some posters here I think it is full of the typical Ericsson characteristics (such as the shortcuts, the smart use of the volume buttons like it has always been, etc.) I used a T600 before and was a bit reluctant to give it up because interface-wise this was to me the cream of the crop of the old-school SE interfaces but I found almost every aspect back in the K700. Also the design of the new se's still say "I look a bit weird but that is because I am a technologically advanced thing".
I think there's a lot of complaining because complaining is easy: every product is a compromise and every compromise is easy to attack. And it's not fair to attack SE on that (see: keeping the positive trend;-) because SE dares to make different products that are often hard to compare with competitors.
Complainers also might feel important because they are discussing what SE should do just as if they were in the boardroom. And, to conclude positive: which they aren't, fortunately.

@dela - Maybe so . . . As majority of the folks here - me included, wanted to have a 'flawless' fone which there ain't at present and maybe even in the future . . . specially for the high-end ones like the SE P910i and the S700 - ONE false move by the fone and it's - "CRITICIZING" - time !

@JN:Thanks, but I doubt if they would fit.Maybe a p910. I need d pda features. See, I upload web pages & manage clients' sites with my p800. i have ebooks & other stuff on it. The pxx0 series are the logical gadgets 4 me 2 stick with.

Yesterday i tried out an s7, i liked the screen of it. My opinion could be seen as a neg or or a pos post aswell. But in first lime its an opinion.

my previous phone was a nokia 3310. Man, that phone was strong ! My friend dropped his from the 2nd floor and only the back cover came loose.
I have thrown my 3310 phone so many times
and dropped it yet it works without problem.

My t610 is also a strong phone, it follows me around the globe and climbs up and down from 39,000 ft almost every day.
One moment it's on my pocket, then on my suitcase, then on my car.
Sometimes my 3 year old daughter plays with it, cooks it on her (toy) microwave and even use it as a car!, it only have some minor scratches on the back and works pretty well, never hangs, and have enough battery power to last two or three busy days, so isn't it a great phone?
