@dkawa
exactly my case!! Is it possible to "downgrade"?? I think I will have to do it in order to get back the possibility to install .sis CZ language pack...

Hmmmm..., interesting developments over at SEUS. What would be their solution for the people who have succesfully updated their p910's to R5A02 and are using them without (noticable) problems?

If a downgrade is not possible then you are supposed to be stuck with this "buggy" firmware unless they re-release it or come up with a new firmware right?

Anyways, R5A02 looks good to me and I can'y say that I've noticed anything strange happen yet. Time will tell I guess.

I thought I was clear in pointing out that the firmware revisions have reverted to R4A10, but some members seemed shocked for some reason. Anywho, there's no need to downgrade unless you have issues. Most issues surface once you really start to utilize your phone with something out of its current routine (ie new software, device, etc..). It might also be that they are having issues distributing it. But rolling back a firmware makes perfect since from a manufacturer standpoint. If they goofed up and released a buggy firmware the natural step to take is to allow users to revert back to a more stable one. Billy G thought it was a good corrective action to implement in his OS.

Hi can anyone tell me how to access the PREVIOUS update, seeing as the new one is a little dubious, and I still have the firmware version I was given with the phone. I presume that one will be like heaven to me and I can wait till everything is fixed with the newest.
My version for p910i is
R3E008 PHONE
R1A30 ORGANISER
CDA 162006 / 5 R1A05
Thanks

Mine said : "For CDA162005/6, the latest organiser version is R4A10. "

So I can't upgrade to the latest?

Has anyone with a P910a been able to use the update service since it went down???? I'm on my 7th day with a non-working P910a and I'm so fed up with SE.

i sent mine in to sony and it's on it's way back but it looks like it will take 7 days to get to me. The least they could do was send it overnight because this was 100% their fault. This was my first ericsson phone and it looks like it might be the last. Sony's infamous customer service is really downright garbage. Does any one know if sonyericsson has a customer complaint number and what the number is if they do.
