From "Microsoft Management console" help file:
Notes:
To open Computer Management, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might also prevent you from completing this procedure.
You cannot delete the system volume, boot volume, or any volume that contains the active paging file or crash dump (memory dump).
You cannot delete an extended partition unless the extended partition is empty.
All the logical drives in an extended partition be deleted before you can delete the extended partition.

I am experiencing, very high problems, after putting files over 468MB in my converted 1GB card, the mp3's r gone, they r automatically erased.
MP3's r corrupted, even photos and ringtones r corrupted.
So I formatted my card back to 512MB thru mobile and everything is fine now.
I do not recommend this to anyone else.
Please dont try this, u could blow up ur card.
At first this is excitement, but when u put over 468MB and put ur card in cell and access files, everything will b corrupted of some will b deleated.
After putting over 468MB, make a new folder in mp3 folder and see whats inside it, u will find garbage files, which wont get deleted.
Formatting many times ur card will make it old and less reliable and its life will come down.
Anyway Sandisk gives 5yr warranty on all its MSD Pros.
So try and get exited then if u face problems, go back to normal mode.
Still I dont recon it to anyone.

to my very surprise, the 1 gig sandisk card is really a 2 gig card!! but i'm yet to format the other unallocated space. it's read as 1.85gig on winxp diskmanager. 950MB healthy and 948MB unallocated!!!!... LOL

Don't get me wrong, i'm not actually advising people to use this method... BUT
File corruption issues happen even with "normal" cards (hundreds of threads about it), so we can't be sure of what is causing those file corruptions, can we?

I'm telling ya all, its because of the update of the firmware. My brother does'nt have any of these problems, he is using his memory stick (a 512 converted into a 1024) without any problems...
