FTP problems: currently for some reason the K750 flasher from DaVinci is unable to contact the DaVinci FTP server, even after selecting "update settings". I got round this: if you download the standard DaVinci client (not the K750 specific one) you can use it to download the firmware files, then switch to the K750 specific flasher to flash them.
...

Can I use the standard DaVinci client with my username/password to download the firmware files for K750i without loosing any credits??

Thanks!

@alexl22 yes, you need to type in the username and password to download the files but won't lose any of your credits

I have the same CDA and I flashed LA2. What languages did you have on your phone originally, English and Chinese perhaps?

I used the same language pack that you did, and used the following CDA Settings:

CDA Number: 102337/13
CDA Revision: R4A
Model: K750
Language Variant Name: EUROPE_5

@Sebby
Does the CDA Number field in DaVinci need to read: CDA102337/13 (with the CDA part)? I think when I did mine, I just put the 102337/13 part. My SW Info screen still reads correctly though.
Also, I left my model as the DaVinci default with K750 (no "i")... would any of this matter?

The reason I ask these questions is because I just want to make sure I flashed everything right.

-------

After I changed to EUROPE_5 (originally EMEA_6), I deleted the files from the software-data folder from my SEUS folders on my computer then tried to run the update again to see what files SEUS would download. Got to the "Hold 'c' key on the phone" part and then looked in the software-data folder, and the EMEA_6 firmware was the one that was downloaded.

@ HWSlacker

It should begin with "CDA". As long as that's what it says in the software info screen, then it's fine. Things like the missing "i" should not matter.

How safe is this? I'm in the US, so there are no handy service centers, and even if there were, they would say the warranty is void right? So if I later on have issues with say the camera lens, would I be stuck and unable to get it serviced?

@ riffola

I personally find it unlikely that a service centre would even be interested, or even realise for that matter.

@toggee: read my previous post, the DaVinci k750 flasher seems to have problems downloading firmware. Solution is to download firmware using the DaVinci standard client (doesn't use up a credit) then use the k750 flasher to actually flash it. Said this a couple of screens up in this thread.
