So it may be faster, but I don't think that speed can be seen in phone... I think the phones have lower read/write speeds than the card supports. It should be faster on card reader.

yea but really I dont even use the 1gb in my k610 now so I see no point in upgrading (although c905 comes with a 2gb)

This is my first SE phone and I'm proud to say I'm never going back to Nokia. anyway, when the m2 was about a few hours old in my phone, (i got the m2 about a week after i got my phone) the k800 opens the shortcuts, goes to the menus randomly. But it maybe due to my clumsy fingers, I dont know.

Is this normal? It did go away though. Kinda like the phone was "breaking in" the card.

ok just wondering about the speed and whats the difference between mark 2 cards and normal ones

The Mark2 specification guarantees 4MB/sec sequential data transfer - worst case. Generally a Mark2 card will show 10MB/sec or faster typcially.

Non Mark2 cards are generally 3-5MB/sec.

You are correct about Video - the Mark2 spec was developed specificlly for video apps.

Hi there!

I'm going to buy a 4gb or 8gb Sandisk M2 to my c702i phone. I have read that there is also a Ultra II model of these in the market.

Now I'm wondering if the Ultra II would work faster when I would for example browse the memorystick content in my phone? Or is transfer speed (from computer to telephone) the only difference between Ultra II and normal model?

Thanks in advance.

PC readers are far way faster than Phones reader....

I had a 2GB High Speed Sony MSPD with K750... and no diference with 2GB Sony in the phone... but in the Flash-card reader of PC is a little faster.
