when i got my fon i tried using gprs w the settings globe sent me but it didnt work. i thought that because i was on prepaid but alas! 1 week ago, i trued it again and it works!!! wow! sakit na tuloy thumb ko kakapindot! haha! tagal na rin tong sim ko, explore pa.
tip: f u hav someone na katxt and he/she has gprs and a yahoo! account, mag yahoo!messenger na lang kayo sa cel nyo w gprs!!! too bad it doesnt have auto refresh to know if you have a new message! you just have to check it constantly. but its free, di ba? walang bawas sa credits mo like if you text.

I cannot connect using my globe prepaid card anymore but I can still connect using my postpaid card. I still have gprs signal but I still cant connect. Did globe stop supporting prepaid users? Does anybody have the same problem?

Thanks ferrarista. Now i know its a problem with my setup. Its just wierd coz i can connect with a postpaid card and not with a prepaid card which was previously working. Ill try to figure this out now.

Before GPRS may connection din ako noon 5110 via cable lang ang gamit ko walang bawas sa Pre-paid. Pero noong May lang na detect sayang gamit ko pa naman sa MIRC lang at Email dahil 9600 kbps lang ang speed

Gamit kong phone noon ay 5110, 6150, 6210 using Nokia DataSuite at IR modem sa 6210.
Hindi na pwede ung prepaid card na ginagamit ko na detect na. Pero ganito ang ginawa ko noon. Dinayal ko yung number ng prepaid tapos tsineck ko kung bumawas sa cell phone ko. Hindi bumawas, tumagal din almost one year.
Try experimenting with prepaid internet cards. Ngayon wala pa akong balak mag experiment dahil libre pa ang GPRS.
