Ok so, I bought my W910i in August, 2008, think the manufacturing week is 29, not sure exactly what number I need to be looking at.

I have been experiencing some issues with this phone.

1) Any intensive use, W910i in background while using other functions, would eventually force reboot my phone, with the red light turning on at the back

2)After as few as 1 sms sent, the phone would say "Inactive SIM" and reboot.

3)When shut it down on my own and boot up and it asks for my password, most of the time, it would freeze and start up again.

I just updated the firmware to R1FA035

It still rebooted on it's own once so far.

Anyone else experiencing this with this firmware version?

Mine is running fine on R1FA035. Try re-flashing it with seus.

Re-flash the same firmware again? Guess it couldn't hurt.

Edit: Oh yeah, manufacturing week on it is Y08W29, anyone else have problems with a phone manufactured this week or the weeks near it?

Is the phone branded? If it is you will have to debrand so you get a generic firmware

Is R1FA035 the latest software version?

My handset also seems to restart itself after intensive use but it is a rare occurence, this may be due to the fact that it was branded to vodafone but debranded it and installed generic software.

Ever since I've tried to use SEUS to update but it says i have the latest version and does not give me the option to re-install??

How do I check if my phone is branded? But I don't believe it is. I got in it's original SE packaging, including a battery branded in Chinese. So I believe it's an unlocked one. Don't think I could use my FIDO SIM card on it if it was branded but then I dont really know what "branded" means, I just know locked/unlocked.

My w910i has a black screen as soon as I open the slider, it appears to turn off and won't loose the black screen till the phone is restarted. Could this be a hardware problem or software/.
