Yes the LG G2 is now reviewed on GSM Arena and again the camera is also excellent which Phone Arena also said too. And the G2 is an excellent all round device

I actually believe now that Samsung have a worthy competitor in LG. The G2 to LG is what the Galaxy S2 was to Samsung, its their first proper stand out by a mile Android device.

Its certainly took me by surprise.

Indeed, +1 Etaab.

The G2 is an absolute beast, I just hope LG give it a longer run WRT updates, they abandon phones so quickly it makes me cringe. The Optimus G rocks the same hardware as a Nexus 4, yet it's still at 4.1 same with the Optimus G Pro which has the same hardware as the Galaxy S4 and Htc One, there doesn't seem to be any sign of an upcoming update for either, unless I missed it.

Hardware wise LG has caught up, I was actuaƂy expecting them to bring the 1st 3GB RAM and 4K phone. I think next year it's going to be a VERY close one between them and Sammy, and if Lenovo, Huawei and ZTE can continue their aggressive push outside China (I'm seeing a lot of Huawei ads locally), Samsung will have more real competition.

SGS4 won most of those apart from 2 or 3 and some were ties.

Wow, must say, I expected the LG G2 to do a clean sweep, didn't think the GS4 would put up such a fight, especially in Camera, Video, Audio quality and as an overall package.

Anyway, great comparison by GSMArena. One part that get's me is how the GS4's audio quality is being praised by many, maybe it's due to me being already spoilt by my GS3's audio and GS2's that when I got the GS4 I didn't completely appreciate the excellent sonic experience it delivers.

On the other hand, great to see LG back on their feet, the G2 is a beastly thing, it's great to see a complete and worthy challenger to Samsung and Apple's dominance, just hope LG don't screw up the updates!

So it seems despite only supporting Core Migration, Samsung's Exynos Octa GS4 not only beat the majority of its Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 competitors at power efficiency but it has also destroyed most of its Snapdragon 800 competitors at it, strange as we were told the S800 was far more efficient, maybe the other OEMs are just rubbish at optimization , the I9500 was only beaten by the S600 GS4 which is using the AB version of the S600 and the HTC Butterfly S which has a huge 4000mAh battery.

GS4 Octa vs. S800 rivals:

Galaxy S4 I9500 Octa Core:

Xperia Z Ultra:

Xperia Z1 (with a much bigger 3000mAh battery):

LG G2 (3000mah battery but with 5.2inch display):

LG are the ones who actually done a bit of justice for the S800, despite having it clocked at 2.3GHz vs. 2.2GHz by Sony, they still manage to produce some decent results.

I hope the Galaxy S4 S800 and Galaxy Note 3 S800 do some true justice for this chip, as so far the other OEMs have done a truly rubbish job.

Anyone here own the GS4 with S800?

My main problem with the stats on the S4 is the talk time- it is shocking compared to the other three.

I think they might have cocked something up there. I cant see the phone having such a strangely poor score like that.

As good as their battery testing technique is, its not an exact science. Mind you I charge my phone daily regardless and have done since phones went with colour screens and I never spend 11 hours a day making calls.

@Tsepz_GP
And where did you get that number for Butterfly S battery? It's 3200 and not 4000. Get your facts straight before posting messages like that.
You seem to know a thing or two about mobile devices but your messages tell different story.

First of all, i9500 S4 has the lowest talk time which means that when the screen is out of the equation its battery life is the worst - less than half of what ZU, Z1 and G2 can achieve. Which means that it is the least efficient. Don't you agree on that? You can't deny it, numbers speak for themselves.

Secondly, due to the nature of the screen, AMOLED will always work better for videos and with lower brightness will always drew less power than LCD. Just look at S4 active.

Thirdly, you can't say that G2 did justice to S800. Look at those scores. They're better than what i9500 achieved and yet it scored lower. Why? Because they weren't able to fix standby time. With GSMArena's methodology and with optimized standby mode it should have scored at least 80h just like butterfly S but LG screwed standby power optimization.

Thought I had fixed the Butterfly S battery info, my bad

Either way, none of the S800 devices managed to touch the I9500 or I9505, which is quite shocking the Talk times of the Sonys are ruined by everything else, so unless you only use your smartphone for calls, you are in for disappointment compared to other flagships.
