I will claim rights for the 10000th one. =P
I think that X1 will be the "big mass-market" phone. The only thing I don't really like is the fact that it looks too Windows Mobile, or at least at the moment. On top of the Xperia Panels, I wish they also had the UIQ "panels as Sony Ericsson calls it" or something like TouchFlo 3D in HTC. Get rid of the Windows Mobile look, and I will really like =) 3.2 Megapixels is a little disappointing for a flagship phone as well as the flash, but I can handle that. At least the interface is similar to the G900 one. Does anyone know if X1 has touch-auto focus?

It does indeed have touch auto-focus, along with nice camera interface and respectable media players designed by Sony Ericsson. They are taking care to make this a good phone, media-wise. There was a screen shot of the touch focus in the bengal-boy review.

I still don't understand the hype about the diamond? When it was announced, the only thing that impressed me was the 192mb RAM... Which is irrelevant now that the X1 has 256mb RAM.
Please, why do people keep talking so glowingly about the diamond?
Diamond is 3x GSM, 2x HSDPA / X1 is 4x GSM, 3x HSDPA
Diamond is 2.8 inch VGA / X1 is 3 inch WVGA
Diamond is 192mb RAM / X1 is 256mb RAM
Diamond is 4GB memory / X1 is expandable to 12.4GB
Diamond is 900mAh battery / X1 is 1500mAh battery
Diamond lacks full QWERTY keyboard, optical joystick, and camera flash, all features that the X1 has. Why is it so obvious that the Diamond beats the X1?

one more year for a model that will have specs that compete against phones that come out this year ... a year late and a LTE/WiMAX radio short i say ... YEA thats right, i expect my phones next year to have 4G in them. cant say SE comes short in that regard they are "usually" forerunners in the radio depts.
as for the X1 its not as stable as the diamond, yet use the same base OS, stability over numbers everyday of the week ...
like i said though the X1 has AMAZING radios, that i would like to see in a form factor similar ... nah f**k that SE just needs to import w61s out of japan and call her K860i and be done with it.
amazing device that one is talking about, NO reviews online for it either, it should be out by now. a few 20 second clips on youtube. id be happy with an exmor sensor ... who wouldnt?

As i suspected, the paris proto maybe runs on modified UIQ3.0 not UIQ3.3 , i think SE will give us nice suprise with the new interface.

The phone to compare the X1 to is HTC Raphael not Diamond.
Raphael is supposed to be on sale in Sept/Oct. 2008. Everything aside, Raphael is sure to be more stable than X1 as HTC have enormous experience with WM whereas SE has none.
The best thing SE can do is to put Symbian+UIQ on X1 and give it a shot, that could put SE back in the game.
