Really am pissed of,people posting off topic makes me uneasy,even though shotokan info is related to moola,but still few threads are been waste of time .
@ramu,need to ask what is that boomsound stereo speakers,any more info on that,as i heard xperia z,which is very feeble,bad sound from Sony(surprised)

Boomsound is from HTC One as u might know, I used the term as Honami will also use 2 stereo speakers like HTC One. So yea, it will be much better than the Z speaker

So do we know what will be announced, just the phablet or will a new top-end device be announced as well?
Seems somewhat unusual to have a big worldwide event for just a phablet.

If they have only 2 high end until year end, why would they do only one event?
My guess is, phablets are popular in Asia, so they first announce Togari in China and make a name for themselves in the now largest smartphone market. That would please the local audience to be first, and give an edge over note 3.
A good strategy could be to release Honami a bit before the iphone, so the media compare it and this year the media match is not galaxy s4 vs iphone 5s/6, but honami vs iphone. This way they could get a lot of free advertisement up to the holiday season.
But they would also need to go all in on marketing, kinda what they did with xperia z with pretty cool tv adds, at least in Japan, but for longer and in more countries, and i am thinking usa in particular.
I guess they would also gain not to compare themselves to iphone and emphasise what they do which is original, so the reception could be quite good compared to the copycat image samsung built with their "next big thing is already here" positioning and comparison strategy. It worked great but i guess now lower sales numbers show makers need to be more creative.
So I hope they tease honami down the road but gives it it's proper event!

They could build immense hype for Honami by releasing a teaser image or leak it on purpose. The expectation for this device is a larger than it has been for a long time - I can't even remember when a phone had so much hype so early on.
