To answer your question, it is also a onsen place, so that would not be incompatible.
Also, as Ricky D says, we probably can't derive any info from the codename alone, but if i try, i would associate hanamaki with simplicity/bare minimum.
So it could be a very simple model, like super-slim that does not even have a camera as someone mentionned.
Or it could be the rumored Firefox phone! It would have lower cost component to be cheaper, important segment in emerging markets or markets without subsidies.
Please share more info on why you bring up Hanamaki
