My point exactly.

Ibought my T39 first and wasn't totally convinced. I then bought my T68 and was sold from a functionality perspective. NOw I have a R520m and functionally it is on par with my T68 and metter than my T39.

I just found out that my SMS counter is not working on my R520m. Am I correct in assuming that it can be corrected with a firmware upgrade? or is there a setting I amy have missed?

In using my R520m I am very pleased that it has an Options button. This one button is enough for me NOT to use my T39. Funny how one button can do that:-!

... i was using the T39...

... now, i'm enjoying the 'options' key on my T68i....

On the whole, i find SonyEricsson's design of the interface much better and more 'logical'... i got lost with Nokia's and Simens'.....

Good day!

Hi all! I'm new on Esato, writing from Hungary with my new phone, a silver R520m. I bought it one week ago and fortunately wasnt used before me. The phone & the battery are in very good condition. Ohh, and sorry about my bad english! ;-) This message was posted from a R520

I used to think the Nokia software was the best you could get - simple, intuitive and very functional. I then moved to the T39 18 months ago, simply because I thought it was the best looking phone money could buy!

It took me a little while to get to grips with the Ericsson software, but then I *really* got into it.

Following the natural progression, I moved up to a T68+R5 firmware and was blown away!

Looking back though , I have to agree with earlier posts; how the hell did I manage without an 'options' button??!! BUT! If the T39 had an 'options' button, I'd quite possibly go back to it, simply because it looks soooo sweet, and with Nokias ten-a-penny, the Ericsson phones stand out as something a little different. (By this, I consider SE T68s as 'common', in so-much-as loads of people have them! I do prefer the blue keypad!)

Cheers,

Steven.

@alpha- it's the branded one that is hard to find. the "generic" one's are cheaper/easier to find, but still, we prefer E//
