How much memory you have at boot???

How does the memory behaves during long periods with the phone on (memory leaking)

Can you disable transitions effects like in W950 (similar to video trick on older firmwares)

Please check opera browser version

Can you use opera and agile messenger at the same time???

Can you post some test photos, of landscapes (not macro mode)

Do personalized ringtones work with bluetooth on?

Also try to open opera plus some other apps at same time

In my case no phone's function is buggy, including quick office or document to go which I often use. My P910 had those applications but practicaly was not of great use because of only portrait mode (here I think of excel) and impossibility to open and edit larger files (1MB) or so (word and excel). Now with P990 I don't have those obstacles. Well again the other day I tested 2MB excel file and couldn't open and again normaly watched 16MB adobe document.. So if somebody need editing 2MB office files may be unpleasantily surprised.

for sure, u can never open opera and agile at once. it's gonna "restart in order to improve performance" am i right in this case? any of you even can edit your word or excel and not "restart in order to improve performance" ? lol

No it doesn´t restart...it just closes one of the two apps. Also, its difficult to run anything over TomTom, besides the phone app

About office documents, i edit them all the time with quickoffice or documents to go, without problems...but some excell files are difficult to open, if very loaded with data

1. In flip closed mode when I unlock the keypad with the slider, my phone displays ‘123 selected’ somtimes. Bug

2. During a call (in flip closed) if I increase/decrease the volume with the jog dial, it displays ‘123 selected’, and when I press done/ back, it displays ‘abc selected’. Same as above.

3. If I have assigned a ring tone for a contact, it never plays the assigned ring tone if bluetooth is on, it only plays the default ring tone assigned by me for everyone. (filenames are fine).

4. In the flip open mode when I press the activity menu button sometimes it opens the activity menu as it would open in flip closed.

5. When I view pictures in thumbnail mode, all the picture in the camera folder (taken from camera) are displayed very blurred, until opened.

6. When I make a call from my phone sometimes it happens that later when I check, the number is not there in the call list.

7. A flashlight functionality as in K750i would be great.

8. When I’m on a call using a Bluetooth headset, and I receive a second call, I cannot answer the call using my Bluetooth button (I’m using HBH-600).

9. If I’m in a call, in flip closed mode; and I open the flip, the speaker phone does not turn on, this used to happen in P800,P900 and P910.

10. While in camera on (flip closed), there are no shortcuts to camera options, for e.g. in K750i buttons can be used for picture size and effects etc.

11. Sounds for things like camera shutter, battery low warning are very low. In the predecessors I could change it with the multimedia volume, but not in this.

12. And the worst one, the phone keeps switching off and on if I open 2-3 applications at once.

13. If in a call and I open the camera and then try to close it, the phone get hanged sometimes.

14. If I send a message and get a delivery report, and I press the continue button, very fast, the yellow light keeps blinking.

15. Memory leaks everywhere.

There are some more issues but actually not so annoying, I can live with that. Anyway, this are MUST DO fixes. Any news in R9 ?

- it is difficult to answer this cause it has not been able to stay on for a constant 24 hours so far. Either it had a restart or I had to restart it for some reason. So I wont be able to answer memory leak status. But all I can say is that those restarts didnt seem like memory issues

- yes, actualy I was not aware it didnt work before but I have tried now it works perfectly.
While on bluetooth subject I have GV435 people were very happy with my voice quality before the R9 upgrade now a lot of my friends have complained that they can not hear me. these were the people I speak frequently.

- tried opera, quickoffice and pdf+ all in the same time. they work but soon as the phone goes powersave mode it shuts down all applications. but if you try to use without powersave mode than the max it can open is 4 applications inc opera. after 4 it shuts down one of the open applications.

this is all for now

this is just a general info on my phone setup.

I have bluetooth on all the time. I also have the push mail on all the time.
