Now that Toshiba released its new smartphone running in the Snapdragon Platform, do you think Sony Ericsson is working in a similar device based in this platform, a new Xperia perhaps??

Well, I think my SE fanboyism is beginning to wane because I haven't been impressed since the announcement of the X1 a year ago. Other than that, everything else just seemed like a slight progression from what they had before, which is to be expected. I need a contract soon, so its down to SE, Samsung or HTC to deliver. I know the 2nd two are rumoured to really astound at MWC. All I know about SE are the stereotypical meaningless winks from users here.

I just want to ask why do you guys hate fast port?
I'm a media user - I listen to a lot of music, all the time. I need the accessibility of headphones to be as easy and simple as possible. Sony Ericsson phones force me to carry an adapter everywhere I go, this is inconvenient. Furthermore, Fastport lovers applaud it because it unifies ports thus simplifying the phone, and I beg to differ - forcing a user to carry an adapter and plug in headphones through a second hardware component is the opposite of simplification

Looking at that I hope not. It lasts a whole day!!! Wow, what about 2 or 3 then? And a 4.1 inch screen?? WTF??Why? It's a mobile phone not a television. I must admit I am looking into a finger friendly phone now but it is wholly worrying that the manufacturers seem to think finger friendly means back to the massive brick. Yes it's thin, shame you'll snap it in half when you sit down though. The HTC HD is just as stupid.
All I want is a Symbian or Windows Mobile device with preferably a 5mpx camera and a finger touch only interface for a cheapish price. I don't even want a QWERTY keyboard but it looks like there is no choice. As I said the 5800 feels tacky, and reviews say the camera is rubbish.
Is it so hard to expect that spec in this day and age?

Now that i saw it clearer the whole LG interface that looks like i-phone isnt really all i phone. I mean they are split into categories (look close and you should see that) and are organized better. You never know but maybe they can switch em around and such. Interesting thoughts. Aha ok yeah i get you but whatever i always used and loved fast port not going to stop now i mean if i really want to listen to music through a 3.5mm jack i would rather have my MP3 with me(which i do i mean sure i have a WALKMAN phone but thats because of the design and brand and cause i take up space more with games and i just need a simple do it all phone) then complain and call SE a sucky company because they dont imply one on their phones. If they did you do realise they would some how up the size in phones until they find a slim way to imply them into them and we will go straight into the second age of bricks from SE thus making more people hate them and then well i would see everything go downhill from there so yeah i jkust say screw that 3.5mm port they are doing a good enough job dont screw it cause of complaints. But i could be wrong and instead they could find a slim solution right away.

There have been many phone like Nokia 5300, etc. which are 10mm or less in thickness and still have a 3.5mm jack... That's not an excuse...

I'm hoping for an Xperia device with a 3 ish inch full touch screen with a couple of hardware buttons, Win Mo 6.5, a decent skin that makes the whole thing finger touch and a 5mpx camera. And around 13mm thin but with a screen in the same style as the X1.
OR I'd like a Nokia N series with the same specs and the new S60 touch interface, which is probably going to more possible then the SE device.

hmmm... haha. Should I laughin'? This words "wait... it's worth the wait" bla bla bla... are silly imo. We've heard it the last two years, didn't we?
I hope this time it's true.
