Yes, it uses a horizontal series of narrow rectangles which
change between green and black, in sequence ... to indicate
progress. I am guessing that yours did not quite get far
enough to show any progress. Assuming that your local
system is not having problems accessing internet servers,
or the USB device ... but those should produce error messages.
I found a logfile that SEUS wrote within its Program Files
folder, that may be worth a browse for any interesting line.
Assuming that you have performed a Windows Update, and
that your Internet Explorer is up to date (I used version 6,
latest service pack). SEUS seems to be very dependent on
IE, Flash, Active X controls, etc. good luck; Larry.

Can someone tell wether there is free software (xs++, setool lite PhoneCX) out there that allows me to update my vodaphone branded k700i (netherlands) to unbranded latest firmware?
I reckon it won't work on SEUS as they don't support it. I've got a nice dss-25 cradle and cable, that shouldnt be a problem.
