Really tired or constant reboots. I have just spoken to 2 agents at SE support UK. They both informed me that they were unaware of any such problems and also had never heard of BROD. I have logged a call for SE to investigate.
I have supplied them with URL’s for the petition and this thread.
Will be interested to hear there response.

I can't wait to hear there response. I don't think they will care, because the phone has been discontinued. But anyway, please create a new thread about this if they do reply, because I know there are thousands of people out there that will like to know about this.

SE is very aware of BROD. That's why they updated the SEUS to a version able to completely reflash your phone's firmware. I believe their service centers were simply overwhelmed with service requests for BRODed phones. Their agents were likely instructed to deny knowledge of this issue.
This is sad news: "Unfortunately, at present there are no plans for
any further software updates to be released for the Sony Ericsson K850i", because in fact this firmware never evolved past the "beta" stage.
