Well, some people on topsoy say they have seen the beta version of this firmware son somes K850.
@GUCCI: Its gonna be ready between August 9 and August 15, i just hope thats true or some of us will be really dissapointed

Wow!!! I alreay like the word R1GA031 like R1FA035/37. I hope it will be available after 9th Aug. I cant wait. I am expecting a major changes like smile shutter, face detection, less booting and above all more heap memory.

yup new firmware would be quite nice...my phone keeps switchin off on its on too much lately!!....gets a tad bit annoying!!....its new firmware sorts the problem out then i wont need to worry about upgrading it anytime soon and can wait for

Thats the great part, K850 is still pretty much upto date with specs or even better than some current SE phones,and this update would make it so much better to use. Still the only one to have both M2 and MicroSD plus a 3LED (can be very useful) and a Xenon flash in one, i realy hope R1GA is true,this phone and its users deserve it.

I'm not expecting that much, I really doubt that there will be added features. I think the update focuses more on those annoying bugs (slowness, BROD, etc...).
I really hope the rumored update is true though.

phone had and most still dont have! if i m not wrong it is the only
so far to feature any form of capacitive touch...i guess apart from the AINO and may be RACHAEL! i definitely love the phone when it works properly!! shame for the bugs!! really looking forward to the update!
@nnr3...yeah i guess you are rite..and i would be more than grate if it jus fixed the bugs!! altho would be nice to have threading of message like a chat...which they are featuring in some of the new phones...and i think the C905 got that thru a firmware update!

so, if K850 will has a CID53 - we can"t upload|download any content to phone via A2 Uploader, is that true??
now i have a CID 52 , and all works fine.
