Well my question is why cover it up in some models and then leave it exposed in this new one. I know it looks better not covered up and more versatile, but why didn't Sony do this on the other xperias is my question.

The size and location make no sense for a stylus. How do you get it out? Unless it is either sticking out all the time or you need to push in to get it spring out, that is not a stylus hole. Looka like headphone to me

Guys stop confusing and asking the same question again and again.
Both Togari and Honami will be water proof and flap less headphone jacks.
glib at xda confirmed that so did mr. unknown dude pointed out earlier.

So amazed that Sony would actually show Z Ultra in an invitation to the event. I wonder if this is a unique occurance, or a sign of how they might do this in the future. I'm guessing it's unique just because they want to draw a lot of attention to a Note 3 competitor.
That damned phone does look absolutely amazing. If it weren't for the amazing camera on Honami, I'd probably end up getting the phablet.

Honami also has the same feature. Flapless water resistance
