Honami is rumored use a new JPEG processing engine, which will be carried out across Alpha SLT and NEX cameras, so processing output will be different to Z's. for better or for worse
I have no issues with 1.75 microns pixel size, as long as the sensor will use new sensor tech developed by Sony through R&D who knows Honami's camera could even come out as good as RX100.

I just noticed on other websites where Togari or Honami was reported, it did not get that much attention. I wonder why?? It seems we are the only of the few ones anticipating the announcement of these new Sony devices. I really hope Sony spends some more in advertising their products, especially in the US.

That hybrid camera and phone features a 1:2.3 inch sensor (same size as most compact cameras) and a 10x zoom. That marks the end of the compact camera business. The Samsung S4 zoom and the new Sony Cybershot Mobile will still be very expensive. But the price will go down in future with every new release. In 2-3 years form now almost nobody will buy a “pure” compact camera anymore.

I hope that 2-3 years of technological advancements in Smartphone imaging will give us camera performance and quality similar or better than "pure-compacts" like Nikon A or RX1 or I'll call that claim a bold yet wishful dream

Will it be as thick as galaxy zoom with 10x zoom feature?

20 Megapixel?!? Just when will Sony learn that more is not necessarily better? At least improve other things to do with the phone camera such as low ISO for better low light pictures etc...
