i got my p800 from globe july 1. dumating saakin naka r2d. napansin ko nalang 3 weeks ago na naging r1d siya. so pina update ko sa semicon sm city para maging r2f. 2 weeks na siya sa semicon nagtataka ako bakit ang tagal for upgrade. sabi nila di raw maupgrade dahil luma yung unit, and meron pa iba sinasabi na meron daw grounded sa loob. may namention na papalitan daw yung unit. meron ba kayo idea ano nangyayari? bakit ang tagal magpaupgrade? sa smatnet 2 hrs lang pero di ako makapunta makati. thanks
Hindi naman sa sinisiraan ko ang semicon pero not all of them know what they are doing u should have brought it to sony ericson makati, mine is R1D ung pinaka old version ng p800 then pina upgrade ko sa SE makati mabait pa ung tao and explained me everything I should know before they upgrade. dapat dun mo na lang dinala. I have a 9210i pinaupgrade ko kasi naghahang eto na nga 5 times ako bumalik ng bumalik sabi upgrade lang then may sira na then my battery is broken daw then may nireplace na parts then costs me almost 2000 para sa lahat lahat damn! sana di ko na lang pina upgrade.

What do you expect? The P800 was close to that price when it first came out. And this one is supposed to be better. We could probably wait for 2nd hand units... the ones that people bought but got rid of it immediately because they though it's wasn't worth it (too overwhelmed by its functionalities). And as P800-users, sanay na tayo so it would be really worth it considering the discount!

read some P900s being sold for (converted) PhP39k+ abroad..
wow! first P800s cost (converted) PhP45k to PhP50k abroad!!
P900 not bad for 39k i'd say.. since it's something more than what a P800 is.. i just wonder what effects have been eliminated by those "dual" processors.

HAHAHA!! Yup... planning to get the P900.
I'd guess the P900 to come out at around P42K when it's first released... keeping the P800 at around P35K brand new.
My P800 is still up for sale...

although I've recently become happier with it since I just got Quick Office...
I will throw in my Billionton Bluetooth USB plug together with my P800 though.
So that's my P800 (with Brando Screen Protector), boxed as new... CD with all the P800 apps I have.. and the Billionton Bluetooth USB plug.
I actually don't find anything wrong with my P800... it's the only phone I've been very happy with...even with the release of the P900. If

didn't release a new phone in the next 2 years..I'd still be happy with my P800. I wouldn't trade it in with ANY PDA on the market...even the upcoming Toshiba e800!
