Well... it is already announced, isn't it? You can find it on the German T-Mobile Page:

That's interesting.....
Well, I never saw it so wrote about it and it seems that many other sites didn't know the phone too, because many big sites like Unwired View and Engadget wrote about it too......

hmmm... X1 doesn't pursuade me really. I'm still waiting for a killer - not especially iPhone-Killer. An 3,5" up to 4" multi-touchscreen. 8MP with VGA-Recording and Xenon+LED, a fast processor, Android or something better, GPS, WLAN, very good browser like Safari in iPhone, etc... the list is long.
Oh, the year of change. YES, WE (maybe SE) CAN =)

You must understand though. It is not enough for the company to produce a phone with the best specs. If the price is not competitive, then it will only sell to few. Given that the X1 is still around the 500 GBP mark, anything better than the X1 will logically cost more, and that's far too much to pay for something like that, great though it may be. They talk about convergence, hehe, how about the convergence of their good specs for their mid-range prices. That is what eventually put me off the X1. It is fantastic, but for the price, it is far too full of flaws (arguably not all SE's fault, but nevertheless they are issues the user must deal with). It made me think that SE had smartphones all wrong, because you buy their top of the range and you suddenly need bug fixes and alot of patience- but you buy their non-smartphones and suddenly its snappy and easy to use and far cheaper (ad not THAT much less functional for most people). So is it worth it? The uppers of this forum have knowledge of something that others don't. But that which they are thinking; how will it pan out, will it be slow and glitchy and expensive again? It suddenly makes the Tube sound very attractive.
