You are correct about Symbian sucking, even the Symbian 3 on the N8 with multi touch is way behind everything else. Its too dull and nothing innovative.
About Satio's replacement, no idea at all. I heard about a 12MP Android but it could be a dream or another failed project.
seems to cancel more phones than release. My source uses a Twiggy, he says its the best phone in a long time but that's a failed project as well.
About Windows,
are always late so end of 2010 or early 2011. Bloody Microsoft have caused many cancellations like the HTC Trophy which is something that many are waiting for.
No idea about much these days but the iPhone is very nice indeed, not as good as my Desire but desirable in its own right. Guaranteed mega success.

This is actually pretty old news. Sony is going to take a greater interest in the development of this device. It's going to be a touchscreen smartphone with some sort of PS integration for playing games.
