here in the US, S20 lowest model will start at $1000 USD. X1 was $900 or 950 at launch? Close enough to not make much of a difference.
prices are insane these days. where will it end? that's the question.

This is why I dont mind buying previous generations.
I will have the dvice, it is zero use.
There are tons of things more important than spending $750-2500 on a cellphone.

so you can get a "current" phone for a good price! that will be my plan unless there is a considerably good preorder bundle.
BTW - who do people order from in the UK these days? I used to order from Clove and Handtec. Clove is still going strong but Handtec seems to be refurb only now.

Off topic, but I'm definitely getting that S20 Ultra.
I just don't want to make similar mistakes as I did two years ago when I was purchasing this buggy XZ2. Now this phone's usb port got malfunctioned for no reason that I know and it is laggy as heck. My iPhone 7 running iOS 13 runs much better than this thing.
