LOL ...read that post and see where I complained. I'll wait and see what MTN/Cell C have got to offer...until then your zealous devotion to Vodacom will be ignored. This message was posted from a K700i

Yesterday I saw someone using a Vodafone-branded Blackberry- the one that looks like a phone. Asked him his thoughts on the generic UI and he said he was still getting to grips with it. The device looked a bit bulky though but the screen was nice and bright. How about someone gives us a proper review. This message was posted from a K700i

my review of what i know...the 7100v its a more phone(calls) type of blackberry where as the other one 7290 is a more email type phone...

only played with a 7290.

bad points no mp3, no camera, but they will improve and voda will get 3g blackberries as well...

the one thing i like is that it has up to 2 weeks batt life!!!!!!!!!! with lots of use and lotsa calls...!!!!

What about a review of your V800...and thoughts on the Vodafone UI...any thoughts given to perhaps flashing it to a Z800? This message was posted from a K700i

I'm going to need a new SA simcard in July, when I'm back in Mama Afrika for a month or so. There's no ways I'm using my UK sim when in SA due to the obvious expenses.
When I last flew down to SA,my old UK network, T-Mobile, automatically switched to MTN roaming when I switched the cellphone back on at Jhb International.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember a certain chain store renowned for their very cheap clothing were selling Cell C simcards for very little money.
I just want to get a simcard PURELY for calling for that month. Would Cell C be my best bet?
